Colour & Samples

Colour can look very different depending on the room, lighting and surrounding finishes. Our Peel & Stick Samples allow you to test colours in your own space before committing to paint.

Yes. Every Peel & Stick Sample is coated using real Ordinary Paint to provide the most accurate representation of the finished colour.

Our samples are designed to closely represent the final painted colour. We always recommend viewing samples at different times of day and in the room where the paint will be used.

We believe there is a better way to test colour. Peel & Stick Samples are cleaner, easier to compare and create significantly less waste than traditional tester pots.

Start by ordering a few Peel & Stick Samples. View them in your space, under natural and artificial light, and alongside your furniture, finishes and materials before making a decision.

Yes. Our team can help guide you through colour selection and finish recommendations.

Paint & Finishes

Flat Matt provides a soft, low-sheen finish for walls and ceilings. Soft Sheen offers increased durability and washability for kitchens, bathrooms and high-traffic spaces. Eggshell is designed for woodwork, trim, doors and cabinetry.

As a guide, Ordinary Paint covers approximately 12m² per litre per coat. Our Paint Calculator can help estimate the quantity required for your project.

Yes. All Ordinary Paint finishes are water-based, low VOC and designed for modern interior spaces.

Our finishes are formulated for everyday living and achieve premium scrub resistance ratings of up to 10,000 cleaning cycles.

New To Painting?

This depends on the surface being painted. New, porous or repaired surfaces may require a suitable primer before painting.

Most projects require two coats for optimal colour depth, durability and finish.

For large wall areas, a roller will provide the fastest and most even finish. Brushes are best suited to edges, corners and detailed work.

We recommend allowing each coat to dry fully before applying the next. Drying times may vary depending on temperature and humidity.

Flat Matt is ideal for most walls and ceilings. Soft Sheen is best for higher-traffic or moisture-prone areas.  Eggshell is designed for woodwork and trim.
